Actor Tommy Lee Jones is mourning an unimaginable loss following the passing of his daughter, Victoria Jones.
Victoria, 34, was found deceased on Thursday, January 1, at the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel, according to multiple reports.
TMZ was first to report the news, citing law enforcement sources.
The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed to PEOPLE that it responded to a medical emergency at the hotel shortly before 3 a.m. local time.
An unnamed individual was found dead at the scene.
The San Francisco Police Department also confirmed that officers responded, met with paramedics, and declared an adult female deceased.
NBC Bay Area later reported that a police source believes the woman found at the hotel was Victoria Jones.
At this time, a cause of death has not been determined, and authorities have stated that foul play is not suspected.
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his former wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
The former couple also shares a son, Austin Jones, 43.
While she largely lived outside of the public spotlight, Victoria made select acting appearances at a young age.
She appeared alongside her father in Men in Black II and later in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by Jones.
She also appeared in an episode of the teen drama series “One Tree Hill.”
Tommy Lee Jones is an Oscar-winning actor, earning Best Supporting Actor for The Fugitive, and is widely celebrated for his work in films such as JFK, No Country for Old Men, Lincoln, and the Men in Black franchise.
