Timothy George Simpkins, the suspect in the Timberview High School shooting on Wednesday (October 6) morning, has turned himself in.
According to Arlington police, the shooting occurred around 9:15 a.m., shortly after a fight broke out between Simpkins and another student.
That’s when Simpkins allegedly drew a weapon and fired multiple shots that struck two people, including a 15-year-old male, who is in critical condition, and a 25-year-old male, who is in good condition.
A teenage girl was also injured and hospitalized and a pregnant teacher was hurt in a fall, but she was treated at the scene.
Timothy George Simpkins, 18, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He is currently being held in jail on $75,000 bond.
Police have recovered the .45 caliber gun.
