Comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have been accused of grooming and molesting siblings in a new explosive lawsuit.
The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday by siblings identified only as Jane Doe, now 22, and John Doe, who was born in 2007.
Jane, who is John’s legal guardian, is the plaintiff in the lawsuit both individually and on her young brother’s behalf.
The Lawsuit
According to the lawsuit, Tiffany and Aries groomed a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother and made them film explicit skits.
The suit claims Tiffany and Aries molested the 7-year-old boy at a home while filming a “Funny or Die” video titled, “The Mind of a Pedophile.”
Jane Doe claims that Tiffany taught her how to mimic fellatio for a skit when she was 14 years old.
“Haddish verbally explained what was expected of Plaintiff Jane Doe and then showed Plaintiff Jane Doe how to give fellatio, including movements, noises, moaning, and groaning,” the lawsuit states.
The siblings claim Tiffany was friends with their mother and the video featuring the 7-year-old boy was published online through “Funny or Die” when he was too young to consent.
Both siblings claim they have developed social disorders.
Jane says her trauma has prevented her from dating because she’s afraid she will be taken advantage of and “led down a path of false trust like the path that Haddish led her down.”
John Doe claims he places band-aids over all the cameras on his electronics because he is so afraid of being watched.
The siblings are suing Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears for damages following their mother’s failed attempt to reach a $15,000 settlement with Spears over the molestation video.
Funny Or Die
A “Funny or Die” skit titled, “The Mind of a Pedophile,” is one of the videos at the heart of the lawsuit.
Portions of the video are still floating around the world wide web and it is downright disgusting and extremely uncomfortable to watch.
Aries Spears is playing the role of “Uncle Pete” and Tiffany Haddish is a mother who asks him on multiple occasions to watch her son, T.J. (presumably John Doe in the lawsuit).
T.J. is only wearing a pair of underwear.
Tiffany kisses T.J. on the forehead and instructs him to do “whatever Uncle Pete asks you to do.”
The skit went on to show T.J. playing with his toys as Uncle Pete stares at him in a predatory fashion through eye holes in his newspaper.
That’s when R. Kelly’s voice begins to sing, “My mind’s telling me ‘no,’ but my body is telling me ‘yes.'”
The video goes on to show another scene where Tiffany leaves T.J., who is in the bathtub, alone with Uncle Pete.
It only gets worse from there.
I cannot believe they thought this was a good idea under any circumstance.
There is nothing funny about this skit. It’s horrible.
Attorney For Tiffany Haddish Denies ‘Meritless’ Claims
Tiffany Haddish’s lawyer, Andrew Brettler, recently called the allegations of a molestation lawsuit brought against her and comedian Aries Spears “meritless” and a “shakedown.”
Attorney Brettler suggested these allegations were par for the course because the alleged victim’s mother has attempted to sue on these matters numerous times in the past.
Plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.
Every attorney who has initially taken on her case, and there were several, ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.
Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit.
The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.
Aries Spears Seemingly Responds To Allegations
Aries Spears, who recently made headlines for his awful comments about Lizzo, seemingly took to social media to address the allegations against him and the lawsuit.
The comedian and “Mad TV” star posted a video on his Instagram page on Thursday where he didn’t speak, but he held up index cards one by one that read, “You Won’t Break My Soul.”
He also promoted his podcast at the end.
