Tiffany Haddish is on the good foot with her sobriety!
During an interview on Amanda de Cadnet’s “The Conversation” podcast, the 44-year-old comedian and actress shared she has been sober for 72 days.
I haven’t drank any alcohol, smoked any weed or anything in, like, 72 days.
When Amanda congratulated Tiffany, she added, “It’s not hard. It’s not that hard for me, ’cause it wasn’t really, like, my main thing anyways.”
Tiffany Haddish said she stopped smoking weed and drinking alcohol because she is “being obedient to the law.”
It’s court-mandated.
Tiffany revealed she only smoked week to manage the pain associated with her endometriosis, but she cannot consume alcohol after her two DUI arrests.
On November 24, 2023, she allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of her Tesla in Beverly Hills and was charged with DUI.
She pleaded no contest and the charge was reduced to a violation.
Tiffany told Amanda she was “driving exhausted” and would have fought the charges “tooth and nail” if the stress of it all hadn’t impacted her health.
I previously reported Tiffany Haddish was arrested in Peachtree City, Georgia in January 2022 on suspicion of DUI.
