Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* is now in theaters, and I need y’all to gather ‘round because this one deserves a full-on family meeting.
I wasn’t even planning to see it at first—but baby, I’m so glad I did.
Now, if you’re a Marvel fan like me, you’ve probably been riding the MCU rollercoaster wondering when they were finally going to bring the magic back.
I’m happy to report Thunderbolts* might just be the comeback film we’ve been waiting for.

💥 I Walked In Skeptical, Walked Out Crying
I’ll keep this spoiler-free, but let me just say—Thunderbolts* had me deep in my feelings.
This movie is thoughtful, emotional, and filled with everything we love about a great Marvel film: snarky dialogue, insane action sequences, and a storyline with real heart.

And let’s talk about Florence Pugh for a second.
Sis carried this film. Like… effortlessly. If she doesn’t get nominated for something, we riot at dawn.
🧠 A Mental Health-Focused Marvel Film? Yes, Please.
One of the most surprising (and beautiful) parts of Thunderbolts* is how deeply it dives into mental health.
The themes are handled with care, nuance, and authenticity—which is rare for a superhero flick.
And it’s perfectly timed, too, with May being Mental Health Awareness Month.
