Taylor Sheridan is taking us somewhere new, and honestly, I’m already seated. Paramount+ has announced that Taylor Sheridan’s “The Madison” will premiere globally on Saturday, March 14, exclusively on the streaming service.
Described as a profound love story wrapped inside a deeply personal family drama, the series promises the kind of emotional storytelling that hits you right in the chest and lingers long after the credits roll.
Starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, “The Madison” is being positioned as Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, unfolding across two very different worlds: the sweeping beauty of Montana and the fast-paced pulse of Manhattan.
And at the heart of it all is the one thing Sheridan always knows how to explore: the complicated ties that hold families together even when they’re unraveling.
The six-episode first season is titled “Introducing the Clyburns,” and it centers on a New York City family who finds themselves in the Madison River valley of central Montana, navigating grief, healing, and the kind of transformation that only comes when life forces you to start over.
In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell, the cast includes Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Matthew Fox.
“The Madison” is directed by Christina Alexandra Voros and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan alongside an impressive team including David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Keith Cox.
