Terrence Howard has released audio of a phone call with his ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, in an effort to prove he has been abused and extorted.
The 53-year-old star of “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” took to his Instagram page on Friday and released the following statement:
The following audio and video recordings were found in Terrence Howard’s personal files.
All parties were aware that these conversations were being recorded.
Reputation.
The concept of reputation is considered important in business, politics, education, online communities, and many other fields, and it may be considered as a reflection of that social entity’s identity.
You may recall, Terrence and Michelle have had one of the nastiest divorces in the history of divorces.
In August 2015, the Oscar-nominated actor went to court to overturn a 2012 divorce settlement with Michelle and stated that he only agreed to it because she threatened to leak private and embarrassing details about his sex life.
Michelle’s attorneys denied the allegations during a deposition.
Fast forward to 2023…
In a video titled, “Terrence Howard and his Abuse,” Michelle Ghent is allegedly heard berating her ex-husband for failing to give her money on a recorded call.
At one point, she threatens, “I will f**kin bury you deep in the ground. With all of the information that I have…I will bury you, Terrence.”
The woman on the call, believed to be Michelle Ghent, goes on to say, “You better f**kin straighten this sh*t out. I better get a check by now…like a transfer of a payment immediately!”
She adds, “I already shopped around! I could make $10 million right now off of your f**ked up voice talking to a bunch of b**ches. Dancing naked on your iPhone, okay?! You want to see your little d**k out there in front of TV?!”

Terrence Howard’s career and reputation took a major hit during his marriage and divorce from Michelle Ghent as allegations of domestic violence and so much more came to the surface.

Went through a nasty divorce like this with allegations of drug abuse, child abuse and neglect. Took two years to get my divorce finalized and it cost me 38gs to do so. When it was all said and done my ex told the judge I thought she would run out of money and take me back. I took out a loan to get rid of him and now since I divorced him he has divorced our children. Yet it was worth every penny I spent, happier now than I ever was being married. You have to do some self reflection and self love, no one deserves to be disregarded or disrespected. I would rather be a single mother than to show my children bad examples of what love looks like.
