Taraji P. Henson has joined the cast of Peacock’s forthcoming limited series, “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.”
The series, set in Atlanta, tells the infamous story of how an armed robbery during the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight not only changed one man’s life but an entire city’s destiny.
Taraji P. Henson will play the role of Vivian Thomas, a savvy businesswoman who is also the mistress of Kevin Hart’s character, Chicken Man.
Additional big names attached to Peacock’s “Fight Night” series include Terrance Howard (Richard “Cadillac” Wheeler), Craig Brewer, and Samuel L. Jackson (Frank Moten).
The limited series is created and written by Shaye Ogbonna based on the eponymous podcast from iHeartPodcasts, Doghouse Pictures, and Will Packer Media.
