It’s unclear how far along Spice is in her pregnancy, but she appears to be pretty far along in her maternity photo.
The baby news comes just four months after the Queen of Dancehall’s health crisis that resulted in her having to undergo emergency surgery.
Conflicting reports and rumors began to spread like wildfire claiming Spice had suffered a heart attack and was in a coma after traveling to the Dominican Republic to undergo a cosmetic surgery procedure.
In a statement posted on her Instagram page, Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, shared that she suffered a damaged hernia that sent her body into sepsis.
A hernia occurs when an internal organ or other body part protrudes through the wall of muscle or tissue that normally contains it.
Sepsis, also commonly known as “blood poisoning,” is typically caused by a bacterial infection.
The “So Mi Like It” singer said reports claiming she had suffered a heart attack and was in a coma are untrue.
This will be the third child for Spice, who is already a proud mother to her 12-year-old daughter Nicholatoy and her 16-year-old son, from her previous relationship with Nicholas Lall.
Spice was most recently romantically linked to cinematographer Justin Budd, but after two years of dating, they called it quits in 2022.
It’s unclear if Justin is the father of Spice’s forthcoming blessing, but I send my congrats.
