Sony Pictures is still playing musical chairs with the release date of Kevin Hart‘s forthcoming film, Fatherhood.
The drama, based on the true story of a man navigating life as a single father after the unexpected death of his wife, who died a day after giving birth, was originally slated to open in theaters on January 15, 2021.
But, after the Coronavirus pandemic hit and shut down the production on many projects as well as the theaters, the studio made the decision to push other films back and move Fatherhood up to an October 23, 2020 release.
