The Seattle Seahawks are seriously pursuing the services of Antonio Brown.

Antonio is still currently serving his 8-game NFL suspension for an incident in June where he pleaded no contest to burglary, battery, and misdemeanor charges involving allegations he and his trainer physically assaulted a moving truck driver outside his Hollywood, Florida home.

Antonio will be eligible to return on Week 8 when the Seahawks are scheduled to play the San Francisco 49ers.

According to reports, there are also other teams who expressed interest in Brown, but Seattle seems to be leading the pack.

Antonio has a relationship with Russell Wilson and backup QB Geno Smith and he has expressed interest in wanting to play for the Seattle Seahawks.

In July, Antonio shared a video of a workout he had with Russell Wilson:

The Seahawks are currently 5-0 and they have two of the league’s top receivers in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, but they know adding Antonio will make them the NFC favorite to compete in the Super Bowl.

Antonio Brown’s talent has never been in question. It’s the off the field issues that have kept him out of action.

The NFL is also investigating sexual assault and rape allegations from 2017 and 2018 filed by his former trainer.

There is no guarantee that the NFL will reinstate Antonio Brown after he has served his full suspension, but the Seahawks and Antonio are hoping for the best.

Do you think Antonio will be a good fit in Seattle?
