Romeo Miller took to social media on Thanksgiving and opened up about his daughter River Rose’s health condition.
The 21-month-old is one of the youngest people ever to be diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, according to her loving father.

We kept things private, but my daughter is one of the youngest people ever to be diagnosed with T1D. Type 1 diabetes is a chronic (life-long) autoimmune disease that prevents your pancreas from making insulin. It requires daily management with insulin injections, shots, and blood sugar monitoring just to survive.
Romeo Miller shared how River Rose’s health has been challenging for their family, but it has also created an unbreakable bond between them.
At her age, there are many challenges and random sleepovers at the hospital, but our faith has never wavered and little sister Winter and Mama Drew are always by her side. The silver lining? Our bond is even stronger, because it’s a must I be there for my daughter medically.
In the spirit of awareness, Romeo shared information for other families who may have been impacted by the same diagnosis.
