The alleged driver who killed Nicki Minaj’s father in a hit-and-run accident turned himself in to police on Wednesday morning.
Nicki Minaj’s Father, Robert Maraj, Killed In Hit & Run Accident
Robert Maraj was walking in Mineola on Friday (February 12) around 6 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver fled the scene without rendering aid to Mr. Maraj.
Nicki’s father was rushed to a local hospital and listed in critical condition. He passed away later that day from his injuries.
He was 64.
The identity of the driver has not been released at this time.
Police are scheduled to hold a press conference on the arrest later today.
Nicki Minaj has not publicly addressed her father’s death.
