Richard Sherman was arrested in Seattle, Washington on “burglary domestic violence” charges, and according to public records, his bail was denied.
Sherman was booked into the King County Correctional Facility at 6:08 a.m. this morning (July 14).
This is a developing story, and details of the arrest are unclear.
Sherman formely played for the San Francisco 49ers on a three-year, $39 million deal, but he is currently a free agent.
His career has been riddled with injuries lately, but he is a 5x Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Champ, and destined to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
Sherman is a smart guy so this news is very shocking. Reportedly, this is his first arrest.
The “burglary domestic violence” charge implies that he broke into someone’s property and got violent… which doesn’t make any sense.
Richard Sherman has plenty of money so I can’t imagine what he needs to steal.
