Rapper Zoey Dollaz recently spoke on the genius business he started – a bulletproof car service called Aegis.
Sadly, given the times we are living in, it is very necessary for people to be concerned about their safety when they are traveling in a car.
Zoey said he came up with the idea because he has a lot of rapper friends that have gotten harmed in cars dealing with road rage so he decided to recreate the Uber concept with armored vehicles.
He named the business Aegis because he is into Greek mythology.
Aegis – a shield or breastplate emblematic of majesty that was associated with Zeus and Athena.
He started with two bulletproof vehicles in January 2021, and as luck would have it, he got shot five times while driving his mom’s new car.
His two bulletproof vehicles were parked at home while he was driving his mom’s new car.
That incident convinced him to be the spokesperson for his armored car service.
Zoey also shared that he was in the car with rapper Young Thug when his car got sprayed on the highway with about 75 rounds, which further convinced him that his car service idea was perfect.
Reportedly, Zoey was also shot in December 2020 outside of Teyana Taylor’s birthday party in Miami.
Thankfully, Zoey is still here with us to create this business.
He says he now has cars accessible in all the main states for major events like award shows and music festivals.
