R. Kelly will head to trial in Brooklyn in early April 2021 for his sex trafficking and racketeering case.

Jury selection will be in mid March and the trial is slated to begin on April 7 according to an order by District Judge Ann Donnelly.

Donnelly also ruled the jury would remain anonymous and be partially sequestered due to the singer’s alleged history of attempts at witness tampering and pressuring accusers to escape justice.

You may recall, I previously reported Court TV announced plans to air the R. Kelly trial on television.

So, you’ll have the opportunity to tune in and watch, if you’re interested.
