Quinta Brunson, the creator of the new hit ABC show, “Abbott Elementary” received an awesome surprise while being a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Jimmy surprised Quinta by reconnecting her with Ms. Abbott, her 6th-grade teacher who inspired “Abbott Elementary.”

Prior to Ms. Abbott popping up on a huge screen in the studio, Quinta shared the last time she recalls seeing Ms. Abbott was back when she was in the 6th grade.

Quinta became emotional when Ms. Abbott appeared on the screen.

She told Jimmy how amazing and articulate Quinta was as a student.

Ms. Abbott revealed she’s close to retirement, and Jimmy blessed her with a retirement gift that made her eyes light up with excitement.
