It’s with a heavy heart that I report music producer Flow La Movie was among nine people who perished on Wednesday in a private jet crash in the Dominican Republic.
He was 38.
Flow’s longtime partner, Debbie Von Marie Jiménez Garcia, and their 4-year-old son, Jayden Hernandez, were also killed in the crash.
The Florida-bound Gulfstream IV jet took off from Isabela International Airport but not long after, attempted to make an emergency landing, crashing at the nearby Las Americas International Airport.
Other passengers have been identified as Kellyan Hernández Pena, 21, Veronica Estrella, 26, Luis Alberto Eljuri Tancredo, 47, Emilio Herrera, 32, and two teenagers aged 18 and 13.
Flow La Movie, whose real name is José Angel Hernandez, is known for a number of hits including “Te Boté” featuring Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam and Ozuna.
Watch the “CBS This Morning” coverage below.
My sincerest condolences and prayers to all of the families impacted by this tragedy.
May they all rest in peace.
