Peacock has officially released the teaser trailer for “Twisted Metal” Season 2, giving fans their first look at the highly anticipated next chapter of the hit action-comedy series.
Based on the classic PlayStation game franchise, “Twisted Metal” is a half-hour live-action series starring Anthony Mackie.
The show follows John Doe, a motor-mouthed outsider who is given a chance at a better life—but only if he can successfully transport a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Alongside a fearless, axe-wielding car thief, he must navigate deadly marauders, destruction-fueled vehicles, and other roadside dangers, including the psychotic clown Sweet Tooth, who terrorizes the highways in his infamous ice cream truck.
What To Expect In ‘Twisted Metal’ Season 2
Following the explosive events of the Season 1 finale, John and Quiet find themselves thrown into the TWISTED METAL tournament, a ruthless demolition derby run by the enigmatic Calypso.
As they fight to survive against dangerous new enemies and returning fan-favorite characters, including the sadistic Sweet Tooth, John’s journey takes a dramatic turn when he reunites with his long-lost sister—the vigilante Dollface.
With high-octane action, dark humor, and unexpected twists, Season 2 promises to take the chaos to a whole new level.
