This innovative series takes viewers on patrol in Long Beach, California, alongside a rookie and veteran cop duo.
Shot using hand-held cameras, bodycam, and dash-cam footage, “On Call” delivers a raw, cinema vérité-style experience that dives deep into the challenges and morality of law enforcement.
The show stars Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) as veteran officer Traci Harmon, a no-nonsense cop trying to balance her protective instincts with mentoring the next wave of officers.
Joining her is Brandon Larracuente (The Good Doctor), who plays Alex Diaz, an ambitious rookie navigating the harsh realities of policing while clinging to his optimism.
The impressive supporting cast includes:
- Lori Loughlin (Fuller House) as Lieutenant Bishop
- Rich Ting as Tyson Koyoma
- Eriq La Salle (Chicago PD) as Sergeant Lasman
Eriq La Salle also pulls double duty as an executive producer and director for several episodes, ensuring the series brings both authenticity and compelling storytelling.
“On Call” is the brainchild of legendary producer Dick Wolf (Law & Order, Chicago, FBI franchises), alongside a powerhouse team of executive producers, including Tim Walsh, Elliot Wolf, Eriq La Salle, and Peter Jankowski.
Produced by Universal Television and Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Wolf Entertainment, this series promises to be a standout addition to Prime Video’s lineup.
