Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 5 of the hit comedy series, “The Upshaws,” slated to premiere on April 18.
About ‘The Upshaws’
Bennie Upshaw (Mike Epps), the patriarch of a vibrant Black working-class family in Indianapolis, is a lovably flawed mechanic striving to provide for his loved ones — his supportive wife Regina (Kim Fields), their two spirited daughters (Khali Spraggins, Journey Christine), and his eldest son (Jermelle Simon).
Alongside them is his teenage son (Diamond Lyons) from a previous relationship (Gabrielle Dennis), adding to the dynamic mix.
Despite the challenges and the constant presence of his sharp-witted sister-in-law (Wanda Sykes), the Upshaws are determined to navigate life’s twists and turns together, fueled by their unwavering familial bond.
In the upcoming season, they face new opportunities, unforeseen health battles, and unexpected surprises, but their resilience and love for each other remain steadfast as they continue their journey toward greater success and unity.
