Sam Hanna Returns To New York
In “NCIS: New York,” Sam Hanna heads back to his hometown, bringing his experience from NCIS: Los Angeles to a brand-new field office.
He’ll team up with a roguish agent played by Scott Caan as they lead a fresh squad tackling high-stakes missions to protect one of the world’s most critical cities and ports.
Behind The Scenes Power Players
The series comes from R. Scott Gemmill, who previously served as showrunner on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” making this a full-circle moment for the franchise.
Byron Balasco will serve as showrunner, bringing his storytelling experience from “Kingdom” to the new spinoff.
A Franchise That Keeps Growing
“NCIS: Los Angeles” ran from 2009 to 2023 and helped cement Sam Hanna as one of the franchise’s standout characters.
With “NCIS: New York,” CBS is clearly doubling down on what works, expanding the universe while keeping familiar faces front and center.
If you’re not trying to wait until fall, you’re in luck.
