Here comes the judge! Ms. Pat can now add TV judge to her resume after landing an unscripted courtroom series at BET.
The comedian and actor, whose real name is Patricia Williams, will star in in “Ms. Pat Settles It,” which is slated to premiere on October 18, 2023, at 10 p.m. on BET.
According to Deadline, in Season 1, Williams assembles a jury of her closest friends, family members, and guest stars to tackle real cases where genuine relationships hang in the balance.
While she has no legal degree, she brings to the table candid, humorous, and heartfelt judgments every time.
The cases revolve around family and relationship dynamics involving everyday people who willingly accept the show’s verdict as binding.
Fans can expect to see more of what they’ve come to love from Williams, moments of intense drama and uproarious comedy mirrored from her own life experiences.
To keep the series fun and exciting, Ms. Pat will welcome celebrity guest jurors like Ray J, Carmen Barton, DeRay Davis, Jordan E. Cooper, Jasmine Luv, and more as a “Jury of Her Peers.”
In addition to her new courtroom series, the comedian’s sitcom, “The Ms. Pat Show,” has been renewed for a fourth season at BET.
