MGM+ has officially greenlit a 10-episode fourth season of its thrilling sci-fi horror series “From”, which has captivated audiences since its debut.
The show, created by John Griffin (Crater) and executive produced by Griffin, Jeff Pinkner (Lost), and Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones), continues to unravel the terrifying mystery of a town that traps all who enter.
Production for “From” Season 4 is set to kick off in Nova Scotia in 2025, with a premiere slated for 2026.
At the heart of “From” is Harold Perrineau (Lost), who leads an impressive ensemble cast.
Alongside him are Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers), Hannah Cheramy (Under Wraps, Van Helsing), and many more talented actors including Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, and Pegah Ghafoori.
Michael Wright, head of MGM+, expressed excitement about the show’s success, saying, “’From’ has been a sensation for MGM+, capturing the attention of millions of viewers and helping us shine a bright light on the MGM+ brand.”
The show’s success is undeniable, with “From” becoming the most-viewed series in the history of the network and boasting an impressive 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
As “From” fans eagerly await the next chapter, showrunner Pinkner teased the drama ahead, revealing, “By the end of Season 3, our characters will start to understand why they are trapped in FROM Town… but will this knowledge lead to their escape?”
The new season promises to answer lingering questions while plunging the characters into even deeper mysteries.
Perrineau’s character, Boyd Stevens, the sheriff trying to hold the fragile town together, will continue his quest for answers in the new season.
