Megan Thee Stallion Becomes Popeyes Franchise Owner, Rapper To Release ‘Hottie Sauce’ & Merch

Megan Thee Stallion has partnered with Popeyes to promote her new “Hottie Sauce,” sell merchandise, and become a franchise owner.

According to a statement released by the Popeyes, the “Hottie Sauce” was designed by the rapper and their culinary team.

The sauce is made with honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper to create a “sweet, yet bold flavor with a hint of spice, inspired by Megan’s sassy personality.”

“Hottie Sauce” will be served on Popeyes popular chicken sandwich and will be available as a dipping sauce for the newly added nuggets.

Megan’s new partnership with Popeyes will also includes an exclusive merchandise collection called Thee Heat.

Thee Heat will offer bikinis, hats, and dog toys, for now. Two more collections will drop in November. 

Last, but certainly not least, Megan Thee Stallion will also become a Popeyes franchise owner under her new partnership. 

In a statement the Grammy Award-winning rapper said: 

I’m appreciative of Popeyes commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening
Popeyes Restaurants.

Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my
journey and evolution as an entrepreneur. 

I’ve always been a fan of the Popeyes brand and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join the brand and help create the new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce for their line-up.
