Lionsgate just dropped the official trailer for Megalopolis, Francis Ford Coppola‘s latest epic.
This Roman-inspired saga is set in a reimagined modern America, where New Rome faces a crossroads.
Adam Driver leads as Cesar Catilina, an artist with visionary dreams of a utopian future.
But standing in his way is Giancarlo Esposito‘s Mayor Franklyn Cicero, a man determined to keep things the way they are—no matter the cost.
Caught in the middle is Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose heart and mind are torn between her father’s staunch views and her love for Cesar.
The star-studded cast also includes Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter, and Dustin Hoffman.
Megalopolis is rated R and hits theaters on September 27, 2024.
