No matter how far you run, some things follow you.

Quan, fresh off his roles in Everything Everywhere All at Once and Loki, plays Marvin Gable, a suburban Milwaukee realtor whose quiet life is about to be shattered by a former flame with revenge on her mind.

When Marvin receives a blood-red envelope from Rose, played by Oscar winner Ariana DeBose (House of Spoils), the past he thought he left behind comes roaring back—along with a world of dangerous hitmen and brutal betrayals.

From The Producers of ‘Nobody’ & ‘Bullet Train’

Coming from the powerhouse team at 87North, who brought us adrenaline-fueled films like Nobody, Atomic Blonde, and Bullet Train, Love Hurts promises a wild ride filled with high-octane action, shocking twists, and explosive showdowns.

Marvin’s battle becomes a deadly game as he faces off against his brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu; Tomb Raider, Warcraft), a ruthless crime boss.

With Knuckles and a host of assassins on his trail, open houses turn into full-blown warzones in this no-holds-barred battle for survival.

Star-Studded Cast & Killer Soundtrack

Marshawn-Lynch

Alongside Quan and DeBose, Love Hurts boasts a stellar supporting cast that includes former NFL star Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch (Bottoms, 80 for Brady), Mustafa Shakir (Luke Cage), Lio Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love), Rhys Darby (Jumanji: The Next Level), and fan-favorite Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings).

A Visionary Directorial Debut

Behind the camera, veteran stunt coordinator JoJo Eusebio makes his directorial debut, bringing years of experience from action classics like Black Panther, John Wick, and The Matrix Resurrections.

His knack for jaw-dropping fight choreography will be on full display in Love Hurts, cementing its place as a must-see for action fans.

With a gritty story, intense action, and a killer cast, Love Hurts is set to deliver a Valentine’s Day punch like no other.
