LL Cool J Joins ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Season 3 In Recurring Role

When one door closes another always opens. A week after CBS aired the final episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” LL Cool J announced he is joining the cast of “NCIS: Hawai’i” in a recurring role. 

The legendary rapper, born James Todd Smith, starred as “Sam Hanna” for 14 seasons of “NCIS: Los Angeles.” 

In January, the network announced the series would come to an end after 322 episodes when the Season 14 finale aired on May 14. 

In a post on Instagram, LL excitedly shared:

Couldn’t keep Sam Hanna off the case for too long!!

Starting tonight, Sam Hanna will join forces with the @ncishawaiicbs team as a recurring guest star in the upcoming third season.

Tune in to the season 2 finale of @ncishawaiicbs on @cbstv at 10 ET/PT or on @paramountplus for live streaming and on demand. 💪🏾

NCIS: Hawai’i” stars Vanessa Lachey (“Love Is Blind”) as “Jane Tennant,” the Special Agent in charge of a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service based in Hawai’i.
