Lil Yachty took to social media to stunt on a fan who was trolling him about writing “Act Up” for his QC labelmates the City Girls.
Yachty let the troll, who he refers to as a “civilian,” know the “7-figure” money bag that was associated with his penmanship.
In April 2019, Yachty explained on the Kerwin Frost Talks show that producer Earl The Pearl played the beat and told him to write something for the City Girls.
People said ‘he might have said one thing in the studio and they credit him.’ I wrote the whole song, except J.T.’s last verse.
I know them personally, and I know what women like to hear.
