Lil Durk was injured during his Lollapalooza performance over the weekend after two quick blasts from onstage pyrotechnics struck him in the face while he was performing his Pooh Shiesty collaboration “Back in Blood.”
In the now-viral video, Durk is seen walking across the stage performing at the Chicago festival.
When he reaches a certain point two pyrotechnics detonate back-to-back hitting him in the face.
The rapper immediately grabs his white t-shirt and pulls it up towards his face.
At that point, the music stops and everyone is concerned.
Lil Durk, with his shirt still to his face, tries to make his way off of the stage.

Lil Durk posted a photo of himself sitting in a hospital room with a large bandage over his eye and he’s wearing a mask.
In the caption, the rapper says he’s taking a break to focus on his health.
“Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I’ma take a break & focus on my health.” He added, “I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y’all ?”
