Shocking video of a Las Vegas judge being attacked while sentencing a Nevada man, Deobra Redden, to prison has gone viral.

The violence unfolded on Wednesday in Clark County District Court after Judge Mary Kay Holthus denied probation for Redden, 30, in a felony assault case.

Deobra Redden appealed to the court for leniency, saying that he did not deserve jail time.

He had pleaded guilty to one count of attempted battery with substantial bodily harm.

When Judge Holthus denied probation, Redden, in what seemed like a split second, vaulted over the judge’s bench and attacked her.

It was pure chaos as two men and a uniformed court officer tackled Deobra Redden and punched him to subdue him and rescue Judge Holtus.

Redden yelled expletives as he was dragged out of the courtroom.

Watch the shocking moment unfold.

Following his attack on the judge, Deobra Redden is being held in the Clark County jail.

He faces several battery and intimidation of a public officer charges related to Wednesday’s attack.
