UPDATE: Krayzie Bone is scheduled to undergo a second surgery in an effort to stop the bleeding in an effort to stop the arterial bleeding in his lung.
Over the weekend, reports surfaced that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone was hospitalized and fighting for his life.
The 50-year-old rapper, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, reportedly checked himself into the hospital on Friday (September 23) after he began coughing up blood.
You may recall that Krayzie Bone is battling sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts, causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called granulomas in one or more organs in the body.
A source close to the rapper told All Hip Hop, a CT scan revealed the Grammy Award-winning rapper had a leaking artery in his lung.
Krayzie underwent emergency surgery and was placed in a medically-induced coma in hopes that his body would begin to heal.
Bizzy Bone took to his Instagram Story writing, “Pray For Kray.”
