Khloé Kardashian is not here for the narrative surrounding Lamar Odom’s Netflix documentary. And honestly, I can see why she’s frustrated.
After appearing in “Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom” on Netflix, Khloé is now speaking out and making it clear she regrets participating.
According to her, what was supposed to be a positive experience has turned into something completely different.
What To Know
- Khloé Kardashian appeared in Lamar Odom’s Netflix documentary as a favor
- She says she was not paid for her participation
- Lamar Odom has disputed parts of her story during press interviews
- Khloé says she feels “dumb” and believes he is “playing in her face”
Khloé Kardashian Says She Feels “Dumb” After Documentary Fallout
On her podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land,” Khloé Kardashian opened up about why she now regrets being part of the Lamar Odom Netflix documentary.
“I feel so dumb,” she said. “I’m pissed that I’m even involved.”
Khloé explained that she spent hours filming and only agreed to participate as a favor.
She also made it clear she was not paid and had no personal stake in whether the documentary succeeded.
“I willingly do the Netflix thing for Lamar. I’m not getting paid one penny to do this. I have no dog in this fight,” she said.
She also shared that she went back and forth for months before agreeing, wanting to be sure the project would highlight something positive.
Lamar Odom Disputes Claims From Netflix Documentary
Since the release of the documentary, Lamar Odom has pushed back on several claims, including details about his father not wanting to put him on life support and who played a role in saving his life.
Instead, he credited God for his recovery…which is true. But, KoKo did help.
Khloé Kardashian says that shift in messaging now feels like her role is being minimized.
“I think what’s pissing me off is now Lamar is doing press and saying he’s annoyed with me, discrediting me and saying that I wasn’t the one that helped him,” she said.

“He’s Playing In My Face”
Khloé Kardashian did not hold back when addressing how things have unfolded.
“All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell, but now to play in my face and act like I didn’t do any of the things I did and insinuate I’m a liar is crazy,” she said. “I feel played.”
She also made it clear that revisiting this chapter of her life was not easy.
“Do people think I like talking about this all day long? No, it’s traumatic,” she added, noting she kept much of their past private for over a decade before agreeing to speak on it publicly.
A Favor That Turned Into Frustration
According to Khloé Kardashian, she only agreed to participate after being told the documentary could not be completed without her.
Now, she believes Lamar Odom may not have expected the public reaction and is responding in a way that shifts blame onto her.
“For years, he was singing my praises. I don’t even need that. But you’re not now going to play in my face because you don’t like the reaction,” she said.
“Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom” is now streaming on Netflix.
