When Tamron asked LeMisha how she was feeling, she immediately began to fight back tears as she said:
Day by day. Some days are good some days are bad.
Today, talking about her is not easy.
Just seeing pictures every now and then…I try to avoid looking at pictures.
I miss my sister…I miss my friend.
Kameelah chimed in to add, “It’s hard. It’s not real yet. It’s very weird and strange. It’s fresh. It’s new still and it’s heartbreaking. It’s unbelievable. I still haven’t fully accepted it. Like it’s weird. We’ve been together since kids. She’s my sister too. We’ve been together since we were in high school. It’s not easy.“
Irish Grinstead Died Of A Liver Disease
LeMisha Fields shared that Irish’s twin sister, Orish Grinstead, who passed away in 2008, died from a liver disease.
“Irish developed a similar liver disease and it’s very heartbreaking that they both passed away from very similar situations,” she said.
Kameelah Williams and LeMisha talked about how resilient and strong Irish was while battling the liver disease and how she loved to perform.
“She loved attention,” Kameelah joked.
