Joycelyn Savage and R. Kelly are engaged according to a letter she wrote to the judge presiding over his sex trafficking and racketeering case.
The 26-year-old, who is considered one of the disgraced singer’s victims, penned the letter of commendation in an effort to persuade the judge to give him a more lenient sentence.
In her letter, Joycelyn said R. Kelly was the “best thing that’s ever happened” to her and she noted more than once in her letter that they are “deeply in love.”
My relationship with Robert is amazing.
He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
We have a very special connection and are deeply in love.
I still support Robert to this day because I love him and will always be here to support him.
She stood ten toes down with Kelly as she described him as “very sweet, gentle, and kind.”
At the end of the day, he has always made sure that I’m taken care of, and any other women he was with as well.
Joycelyn Savage also denied being a victim and said that she is heartbroken that the government has created that narrative.
Robert and I are deeply in love and it breaks my heart that the government has created a narrative that I’m a victim. I’m a grown woman, and can speak for myself which is why I wanted to provide this letter to the court.

Unfortunately, Jocelyn Savage’s letter didn’t move Judge Ann Donnelly and she sentenced the self-proclaimed “Pied Piper” to 30 years in jail.
Her family is still hoping to reconnect with Joycelyn and they say they aren’t buying into her “engagement.”
Boosie recently spoke out saying the singer was “done dirty” by the media and he was “over-sentenced” for the crimes he’s accused of.
