JoJo Siwa Talks Making History With The 1st Same-Sex Dance Partner On ‘DWTS’

JoJo Siwa and her mom Jessalynn Siwa stopped by “The View” to chop it up with the ladies about JoJo and Jenna Johnson making history as the first same-sex dance partners on “Dancing with the Stars.”

JoJo and Jenna came in second place to Iman Shumpert and his partner Daniella Karagach in last night’s (November 22) season finale.

JoJo said being on “DWTS” was “the best” experience of her life, and she had the best time everyday in rehearsals.

She also said she feels representation is huge right now and she thinks her being on the show made kids feel okay to love who they want to love.

Getting to be the first ever same-sex couple meant that we were changing the way that the world looked at something normally.

I think it’s important, right now I think representation is huge. And I think that for kids seeing me love who I want to love and dance with who I want to dance with makes them feel okay to love who they want to love.

JoJo also addressed Cardi B calling her out at the American Music Awards about how expensive her rates are.
