During Apple TV’s Press Day in Los Angeles on February 3, the actress was promoting Season 2 of “The Last Thing He Told Me” when she casually told a story that stopped the room.
And yes. It involves an ear.
Jennifer Garner Bit Off A Co-Star’s Ear
While discussing the intense physical scenes in Season 2, Jennifer recalled filming a fight sequence years ago for The Kingdom with stunt performer Saul.
According to her, the director told him to try to kill her in the scene and told her to do whatever she needed to survive.
She did exactly that.
“I ended up scrambling onto his back and I bit his ear. And we have a picture of him missing a chunk of ear because we were not kidding.”
Missing. A. Chunk.
The room went silent for about half a second before the cast jumped in.
Rita Wilson immediately reacted, “Like Mike Tyson.”
I was not prepared.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau looked stunned. The audience laughed in disbelief. And Jennifer?
She doubled down.
When talking about reuniting with the same performer for Season 2 fight scenes, she made it crystal clear she wasn’t about to dial it back.
“He’s not going to be careful. I’m not going to be careful. Just back out of the way. I have a score to settle here.”
Ma’am.
Then she delivered the line that should now be printed on merch.
“Don’t make me mad. I seem nice.”
I love her. I respect her. I will absolutely behave.
Season 2 Of “The Last Thing He Told Me” Raises The Stakes
The moment was hilarious, but it actually underscores how intense this season gets.
Season 2 of “The Last Thing He Told Me” picks up five years later with Hannah once again facing danger.
The stakes are higher. The emotional tension is thicker.
And if this story tells us anything, Jennifer commits fully to the action.
If biting is what survival looks like, apparently she is prepared.

After hearing this panel moment, I’ll be watching very closely.
Mostly for the plot.
