Jason Derulo is calling allegations that he sexually harassed and dropped an aspiring artist from his label because she declined his sexual advances “completely false and hurtful.”

On Thursday, I reported that Emaza Gibson filed a lawsuit against the “Talk Dirty” singer in Los Angeles Superior Court accusing him of quid pro quo sexual harassment.

In the lawsuit Emaza detailed how Jason tried to coerce her into drinking in and outside of the studio, he made inappropriate comments in regard to sexual and drug rituals, and at some point, he became physically aggressive causing her to fear for her safety.

Jason Derulo took to Instagram with his best Puss in Boots face and released a video denying the allegations.

The caption on the post read:

I wouldn’t normally comment but these claims are completely false and hurtful. I stand against all forms of harassment and I remain supportive of anybody following their dreams.

I’ve always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that’s why I sit here before you deeply offended, by these defamatory claims. God bless.
