NBA star Ja Morant is trending in the streets of social media after the Memphis Grizzlies point guard was seen waving a gun on Instagram…AGAIN!
In the video, which appeared on IG Live on Saturday, Ja is riding in the car with a friend and they’re listening to NBA YoungBoy’s album.
When the camera pans to Ja Morant, he’s turning up with what appears to be a gun in his hand.
The video has now gone viral on social media as many are in pure disbelief that the NBA star would do this nonsense again.
You may recall all of the drama Ja went through in March after he lived streamed a video of him holding a gun inside a Colorado strip club.
Luckily, the Glendale Police Department declined to press charges against him, but Ja Morant was suspended for 8 games without pay for the incident.
The 23-year-old entered a counseling program in Florida and issued the following apology:
I take full responsibility for my actions…I’m sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis, and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down.
I’m going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being.

NBA spokesperson Mike Bass said, “We are aware of the social media post involving Ja Morant and are in the process of gathering more information.”
Shams Charania, Senior lead NBA Insider for The Athletic and Stadium, reports, “Ja Morant has been suspended from all Grizzlies activities after the Memphis star was seen flashing an apparent gun in recent social media video.”
As I was wrapping up writing this post, the Grizzlies issued a statement:
At this point, I have no empathy left for Ja “Can’t Get Right” Morant. I would love to hear what his dad has to say about all of this!
