A New Generation Faces Gilead’s Dark Reality

Based on Margaret Atwood’s award-winning novel, “The Testaments” returns us to the dystopian theocracy of Gilead years after the events of “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

This time, the story unfolds through the eyes of young women who have only ever known this oppressive world.

For these girls, the outside world is nothing more than a faint memory or a whispered legend.

Their futures have already been mapped out for them, from arranged marriages to a lifetime of servitude.

As the weight of what lies ahead settles in, they find themselves seeking allies wherever they can in hopes of breaking free and discovering the lives they truly deserve.
