Warner Bros. has released the first look images from the highly-anticipated House Party revival, which is slated to premiere this summer on HBO Max.
The film stars Jacob Latimore as “Kevin” and Tonsin Cole as “Damon,” and the official film description reads:
When a pair of down on their luck house cleaners discover they’re assigned to clean the mansion of Lebron James while he’s overseas, they decide to make a life-changing decision to throw a giant party in a quest for immortality and some cash.
As the party gets out of control and one of Lebron’s championship rings goes missing, they will be launched into a wild night that they will never forget.
The project is produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter through The SpringHill Company and the NBA star made it very clear that this film is not a reboot!
This is definitely not a reboot. It’s an entirely new look for a classic movie. Everyone I grew up with loved House Party.
To partner with this creative team to bring a new House Party to a new generation is unbelievable.
Calmatic directs the screenplay by Jamal Lori and Stephen Glover.
He is also set to direct the White Men Can’t Jump reboot from 20th Century Studios starring Jack Harlow, Sinqua Walls, Teyana Taylor and Laura Harrier.
Check out the first look images below of Jacob, Tonsin, Karen Obilom, and DC Young Fly.
House Party is slated to premiere on HBO Max on July 28, 2022.
