‘House Of The Dragon’ Renewed For Season 2 At HBO After Record-Breaking Debut

Another one! HBO has renewed “House of the Dragon” for a second season less than one week after the series premiered.

About ‘House Of The Dragon’ 

The 10-episode original drama based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” tells the story of the House Targaryen. 

The series is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.” 

Record-Breaking Premiere

House of the Dragon” premiered on Sunday, August 21. 

The first episode has been seen by over 20 million viewers across linear, On-Demand, and HBO Max to become the biggest debut for any new original series in HBO history.

Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming said in a statement:

‘House Of The Dragon’ Cast

The Season 1 cast stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans.
