Paramount+ has unveiled the teaser trailer and premiere date for its highly anticipated original drama series, “Happy Face”.
This eight-episode series premieres on Thursday, March 20, with two episodes available immediately.
New episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays, with the finale on May 1.
The Story Behind ‘Happy Face’
“Happy Face” is inspired by the true story of Melissa G. Moore, the Happy Face podcast, and Moore’s autobiography, “Shattered Silence“.
At 15, Melissa discovered her father was the infamous serial killer known as the Happy Face Killer.
The series explores her adult life as she confronts her past and races to prevent an innocent man from being executed for one of her father’s crimes.

The series features a stellar cast:
- Annaleigh Ashford as Melissa G. Moore
- Dennis Quaid as Keith Hunter Jesperson, the Happy Face Killer
- James Wolk, Tamera Tomakili, Khiyla Aynne, and Benjamin Mackey
