Halle Berry, appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote her new movie, Bruised, and she addressed the backlash she received after calling Cardi B the “Queen of Hip Hop.”
At the Bruised premiere, Halle spoke about the soundtrack for the film, which is co-executive produced by Cardi and referred to her as the “Queen of Hip Hop.”

This infuriated the Barbz, Nicki Minaj’s fan base, and they took to social media to vent.
Jimmy Kimmel asked Halle, given the backlash she received on Twitter, does she “stand by her assessment of Cardi B as the ‘Queen of Hip Hop?'”
Halle responded:
Here’s the thing…there is room for more than one queen, people.
That’s what we need to know.
Nicki is a queen in her own right. H.E.R. is a queen. All of these ladies to me are queens.
There can always be more than one.
