Halle Bailey had time today. The singer and actress responded to those who are criticizing her for sharing prenatal photos after concealing her entire pregnancy.
The 23-year-old quietly welcomed a baby boy, Halo Granberry, with her boyfriend, DDG, in December.
The couple announced Halo’s arrival after the New Year.

Halle Bailey has been sharing photos and videos from her pregnancy via social media and the content is drawing mixed reactions.
The most recent is how she photoshopped her belly out of photos she shared via Instagram.

Her fans and supporters love the inside look at her pregnancy while others feel like she should keep that same “privacy energy.”

I don’t think people are mad she hit her pregnancy.
People are more annoyed that she went out of her way to lie and gaslight about it.
Then, she shaded people and called them desperate.
Now, she wants those same “desperate” people to know every little detail.

I never lied or even said anything about it honey.
Making a joke about my nose was the farthest I went. I’ll never understand why you are mad I protected my own peace.

Halle, you implied people were being anti-Black and body shaming you for noticing the obvious. That’s not funny.
As stated, people aren’t mad. If so, I CERTAINLY am not one of them. I understand your motives…
I think people just want to see you share GOING FORWARD rather than going back and revealing the lengths you went to be dishonest (I.e. photoshop).
