‘Godfather Of Harlem’ Season 3 To Premiere January 2023 On MGM+

Godfather Of Harlem Season 3

I am super excited to report that “Godfather of Harlem” Season 3 will premiere on January 15, 2023.

The series, starring Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker, tells a story inspired by infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson (Whitaker), who in the early 1960s returned from eleven years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles.

Season Three (10 episodes) will find Bumpy Johnson continuing to battle for control of Harlem, with other aspirants to the throne, namely the Cuban Mafia from neighboring Spanish Harlem.

Taking on the Cuban mob will put Bumpy, his loved ones, and his community in the crosshairs of not only the rival Italians, but ruthless Latin assassins and, ultimately, the CIA.

Godfather of Harlem” is a collision of the criminal underworld and the civil rights movement during one of the most tumultuous times in American history.

In late September EPIX announced the network will rebrand as MGM+ at the top of 2023.

The change will exemplify the network’s brand promise to provide premium cinematic television and a curated leading theatrical library, delivered by one of the world’s most enduring entertainment brands.

“Godfather of Harlem” Season 2 was the network’s best-performing season of all time, breaking records for single-title streams in a single day across EPIX’s digital channels.

The Season 2 finale was the best-performing finale episode to date.

Bumpy Johnson is that dude!

Are you looking forward to the new season?
