Jamie Foxx has been receiving an outpouring of love, prayers, and appreciation posts following the news of his “medical complication.”
The Oscar-winning actor and comedian’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, shared the news via Instagram.
However, the details of his medical emergency have not been made public.

Actress, model, and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Garcelle Beauvais took to social media to dedicate an appreciation post to Jamie.
She shared a photo of herself and Jamie via her Instagram account and the caption read:

Garcelle Beauvais and Jamie became friends over two decades ago when she starred on “The Jamie Foxx Show” as his love interest, “Fancy.”
The show debuted in 1996 and ran for five seasons on the WB network until 2001.
The duo later reunited in the 2013 film, White House Down.
Although the chemistry was there, Jamie and Garcelle made a pact to never date while working together.
Unfortunately, when they finished filming, she was already dating someone else.
When Jamie Foxx appeared on Garcelle’s “Going To Bed” podcast, he admitted why he was never friendly with her boyfriends.
I think me and you should have been together. So every time I see them, I’m like, ‘Damn. I f–ked up.’
So every dude, I give them a really sh–y look.
In the same podcast episode, Garcelle said, “He’s also hung like a horse. What would I do with all of that?!”

Kerry Washington also took to social media to dedicate an appreciation post to her “movie huzbin.”
The award-winning actress and “Unprisoned” star shared a photo of herself with her head on Jamie Foxx’s chest.

Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx starred in the classic 2004 Ray Charles biopic, Ray.
Jamie delivered an Oscar-winning portrayal of Ray Charles and Kerry played the role of Ray’s wife, Della Bea Robinson.
The duo would later reunite in Quentin Tarantino‘s 2012 western, Django Unchained.
Jamie starred in the film as Django, a freed slave who sets out to rescue his wife, Broomhilda von Shaft, played by Kerry Washington, from a brutal plantation owner.

According to TMZ, Jamie Foxx is “doing a lot better” and even joking with family members, who flew into Atlanta to be by his side.
Jamie will remain in the hospital for a few more days as doctors continue to run tests to get to the bottom of what caused his medical emergency.
