Hey, Wassup, Hell Naw! Fetty Wap was arrested by the FBI on Thursday night (October 28) before he could take the stage at the Rolling Loud Festival at Citi Field in New York.
The “Trap Queen” rapper appears to be trapped in a laundry list of serious charges.
According to legal documents, Fetty, real name Willie Maxwell II, is accused of distributing more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey.
Federal agents claim Fetty Wap and others obtained drugs on the west coast and used United States Post Service vehicles with secret compartments to smuggle the drugs to the east coast.
According to the legal documents, feds obtained $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, fentanyl pills, pistols, handguns, and a rifle.
Fetty Wap’s attorney, Navarro Gray, told TMZ:
We pray that this is all a big misunderstanding. He sees the judge today. Hoping he gets released so we can clear things up expeditiously.
I certainly hope Fetty Wap wasn’t involved in no foolishness like this.
But, anything is possible and it’s no secret the feds love to swoop down on rappers at Rolling Loud.
I will keep you posted as this story is developing.
