Ex-MLB Player Delmon Young 911 Audio Calls Released

Ex-MLB player Delmon Young was arrested on Monday and booked on domestic violence charges, and the multiple calls that his ex-girlfriend made to the police prior to his arrest have been released.

In the audio, you can hear Delmon and his ex-girlfriend screaming at each other while she is on the phone with the police.

She told the police that Delmon was in her apartment physically abusing her, breaking her stuff, and trying to steal her possessions.

He broke my TV and he punched me in the face.

I have blood all over me.

You can hear the panic, frustration, and fear in her voice as she pleads with multiple 911 operators to send help.

At some point during the argument, Delmon went into a closet and called the police on his ex-girlfriend, claiming that she was “drunk” and breaking his stuff.

According to the police report, cops saw surveillance video of Delmon hitting his ex-girlfriend and her “screeching in pain.”

He was arrested Monday night and booked on four charges.

Delmon was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2006 and he ended his career in 2015 with the Baltimore Orioles.
