Don Lemon doesn’t mince words when it comes to calling out double standards on television.

In a recent episode of his show, he fired back at Megyn Kelly for gloating over Joy Reid’s departure from MSNBC—and his message was unmistakable: “Go f**k yourself!”

Megyn Kelly’s Reaction

Megyn Kelly ignited controversy when she took to the dusty streets of X (formerly Twitter) with a scathing tweet about Joy Reid.

Her message read as follows:

Remember when Joy Reid laughingly mocked “white women tears” as pathetic and offensive to her?

Who’s crying now, Joy? Good riddance to the absolute worst person on television, and shame on NBC for letting it go on this long.

See the original tweet below.

Later, during Monday night’s episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, she doubled down on her remarks:

The big news…tonight will be Joy Reid’s final show on MSNBC.
Single tear…white woman tears happening right here, Joy.
She was officially fired over the weekend because she’s a racist, horrible news anchor with no ratings—and that’s really been the truth for a long time.

Don Lemon’s Fiery Rebuttal

Not to be outdone, Don Lemon, a respected journalist, responded with a no-holds-barred message during his own show.

Drawing on his decades of experience in journalism and life as a person of color, he delivered his comeback:

So, let me just say to Megyn Kelly…in my 30-some years as a journalist, my 50-some years as a person of color…go f**k yourself!

Lemon then ramped up the intensity by running a segment he dubbed the “Crusty Carfax Report,” taking a humorous yet pointed jab at Megyn Kelly’s commentary.

Welp! Don Lemon said what he said.

At the end of the day, Joy Reid gone be alright! We got her back!
